Because:

He openly stated he has no intentions of fighting at 175.

He won’t fight GGG again.

He’s avoided Andrade for a decade.

The WBC invented a special rule so he wouldn’t have to fight his mandatory challenger, Jermell Charlo. He has no intention of ever fighting him.

He’ll only offer Plant a fight on short notice.

The only two mandatory challengers he’s ever faced in his career are Ryan Rhodes and Avril Yildirm.

Andrade is garbage. Let me say it again, ANDRADE IS GARBAGE. He's never fought or beat a former or current or world champ. Ever. At least Yildrim has fought Dirrell a former world champ. That's one more than Andrade

Plant has from now to September to train for Canelo. It's no secret that the IBF is next. Plenty of time.

So you get mad that he fights mandatories, then get mad that he doesn't? Make up your mind.

Add to it, IF Charlo does want Canelo, he needs to get the IBF belt that Plant holds. Plenty of time to make the fight from now until May/June. Nobody can seem to tell me why Charlo doesn't want to take it upon himself to get that belt and call Canelo's buff in regards to the IBF unification. All everyone wants to do is cry about Canelo/WBC mandatory/Charlo/4-5 years ago.

Plant has had an enormous amount of time to prepare for the Canelo call. Plant has fully acknowledged a Canelo call since the narrative is him (after BJS) for Undisputed, so obviously Plant knows of Sept.Dec. Don’t take my word for it, Plant has tweeted himself that Canelo needs him for Undisputed. Plant has a Russian and Kazakh winner to face, with Parker on the backup. Plant KNOWS he ain’t going to risk a loss to any of these guys before the Canelo fight. That’s why Plant recently said he wants Canelo “soon” and that “undisputed” was his dream as a kid. Plant is nervous to not land a Canelo payday. He knows PBC is struggling. Best believe Haymon would prefer Charlo vs Plant instead of those top 3 ready for Plant. If Plant loses the belt to any of those guys who aren’t PBC he won’t be rinsed again for Haymon matchmaking, hence the urgency from Plant. Plant knows he can’t bullshet excuses again.

and regarding mandatories. Derevyanchenko CHOSE a lesser pay to fight GGG as he turned down the Canelo pay. The mando was going to purse bid and Canelo lost the IBF. It was one of the reasons Canelo got more upset with Oscar.

Why is Canelo or Eddie Hearn getting some of the blame for Yildrim being positioned in the mandatory spot when Yildrim was put in the mandatory spot when the PBC'S David Benevidez was the WBC champion?

Where was the complaints when he was installed as mando to Benevidez from the ppl who are complaining now?

What should they of done? Said your a good enough mando for this PBC fighter but we will have to uninstall you now because its Canelo?

Dont get me wrong Yildrim lost his last fight then was inactive, there is no way he should of been mandatory for anybody. But why is Canelo getting the heat for it?

Canelo offered to fight Beterbiev on the Kovalev date but Beterbiev didnt want to sacrifice his belt and his mandatory matchup.

Canelo reportedly offered Jermall Charlo a fight in the past which Jermall has disputed yet Jermall own brother Jermell has validated in his own criticism of Jermall...

Canelo decisively beat undefeated Callum Smith and is fighting BJS with rumored Plant in September should he beat BJS.

There's no ground to stand on to accuse Canelo of anything unless youre speculative about PED use but hes been taking tests and passing to my knowledge

Has he ever fought a mandatory prior to this? If Benavidez was champ, he never would have pursued the belt in the first place, and if Benavidez had been mandatory he would have gotten the Adonis Stevenson treatment.

Canelo never offered anything to Beterbiev. An hour after his team made that claim, Beterbiev called it a lie, and said to call him to set a fight up.

After GGG couldn’t get the job done these haters are grasping at anything.
Keep in mind he just fought in December and will fight a unification fight in May. In most years that would be all his fights. If Yidirim was a Cinco De Mayo or Mexican Independence Day fight I could see the hate. But he was a stay busy fight and getting a mandatory out of the way.
His plan is to fight 5 times in 12 months. If we get BJS, Plant in September and then another fight in December he’ll win fighter of the year again and it won’t be close.

i dont get the hate with canelo..i like him...but im not some super canelo fan

the guy is 30 with a HOF resume already...hes the king of the sport basically....he said he plans to fight another 6-7 years...maybe he does...but even if he fights another 4-5 hell add at least 4-6 more solid names to his resume.......the hate just shows that there are people who still dont understand the sport and business side....p4p fighters arent fighting top dogs every fight ...back to back..or back to back to back.....hes given us more than a fair share of good matchups in the last 3 years if youre being fair and honest....and im sure his next fight will be a good one.....some people just have an agenda and want to see certain guys face a murderers row of tough fights until they lose to see them humbled
