ppl here seriously think vitali stands a chance against prime tyson? really!?

tyson has way too much skills and speed, and in his prime he was acctually smarter than vitali too. back in the 80s he was a master at distance, angles and throwing at the right time. he was great at finding holes in his oponents defense too.

the height thing wouldnt mean jack ****. tysons head movement and foot speed would get him inside, and with vitalis flaw of leaning straight back and tysons legendary bodywork the head would come down pretty quickly. first down to tysons level and then to the canvas.

tyson within 3 rounds, only real question is if vitali lands on his back or his face.

I probably already responded in this thread but Im not gonna look through every page.

I think a prime Vitali could possibly give Tyson problems. He had a much longer reach, was much taller, was tough, and can take a good punch.

Some point out, "look what an old Lennox did to his eye".. That means nothing. Lennox caught him with a good punch on a good angle, could happen to anyone. He might have even caught him with a thumb to the eye, but not intentionally. By the way, anyone have a close up gif of which punch caused that cut?

I still would pick Tyson by a TKO, but I wouldn't expect a fast wipe out.

Tyson has beat no top fighters. Prime Tyson was only 215 so he would have problems against Vitali. Plus Tyson's chin was not that good. I give Evander a better chance then Tyson.

Nah, no way would it be a fast wipe out, Vitali has never been on the floor. And he has fought an albeit old Lennox, but an old Lennox who beat Tyson, i'm not using the triangle theory here, beacause it doesn't apply. What i'm saying is that Vitali's chin is way to solid for even Tyson to put down that easy.

tyson beat spinks, razor, tucker, tubbs, thomas, biggs etc..

that ****s pretty hard on vitalis resume.. gomez, arreola, peter, sanders, williams etc.. some of them didnt even come to fight or come in shape.

tyson had a great chin, all his stoppages were due to accumulated punishment. have u acctually watched his fights with douglas, holyfield and lewis and not just the KO clip? he took insane amounts of punishment in all those fights before he got taken out. very few HWs in the history of boxing wouldve lasted as long as he did taking shots like that, also keep in mind he had a lung decease which made it hard for him to breathe and heavily affected his cardio. he always fougth guys bigger than him, his speed, skills and boxing IQ more than made up for it. it would against vitali aswell.

tyson and holyfield in their primes both wipe the canvas with vitali.

I would have to put tyson favourite but not by alot, I haven't seen Vitali pressured or in trouble so we don't know what his maxximum best is.

Tyson lost to Douglas, but that only shows that anything can happen. However if you got by % you would have to put your money on the favourite (tyson). Cos if upsets happened all the time they wouldn't be called upsets.

But the more I read my faith is tested, cos there are valid points for Vitali victory.

I love Vitali as a boxer. A real man and beast in the ring, but a prime Tyson had too much speed and power for him.

Tyson's speed and movement would evade Vitali. iitali's chin is tough, but no one can take Tyson's shots for a very long time unless they can make him miss or hold him up, which Holyfield did, and that wasn't even in prime.

I'm talking the Tyson who was hungry and not after prison. Vitali needs range to hit people hard, and I know that Vitali will have trouble with that.

Style makes fights and Vitali is too open. He comes forward and believes in his power.

Vitali in prime was maybe Lewis? Well that Vitali would maybe take some punches from Tyson, but speed kills and Vitali would not see some shots.

You have to rough up Tyson and weaken his punches with movement.

I have seen most of Tyson's fights,I was born in 1976. Spinks looked washed up in the Tyson fight. Spinks looked soft and scared. Prime Tyson fought no one that looked that good to me. I think both klitschko's, Lewis, Evander, Bowe, beat Tyson.
