If he can make 147 it is fair game. Although I can understand the apprehension in facing him (especially at 147), I think against the best of the best technical boxer Williams will always have a rough time with (I know he beat Winky, but Winky's style is different from the type of fighters that I feel would give Williams trouble) even at 147. Not saying that Williams would for sure lose to top flight technical boxers but to me that is the type of fight that will give him troubles.

Williams is a tremendous specimine and has several other positive attribute working for him, I just think he is piss poor technically and often gives up his size (although for being so long he fight very well on the inside, I honestly has no clue how he shortens up his punches with those long arms).

Yeah He can still make 147 because like his trainer George Peterson said after the winky fight...Paul walks around at about 154
      Here is the link:

put east side(no space) before boxing. for some reason this site prohibits links to other boxing sites.

also in the ring life episodes, the show paul eating alot to bulk up so he can make it to 160.

Those are the top guys at 147. All of them walk around weighing more than Paul, yet Paul is too big for 147 and not a true Welterweight. Every time a potential fight for Paul at 147 gets brought up people say Paul has no business there and is picking on smaller guys...some one explain the logic behind that?
Are you the guy that weighs them while they're on vacation? I've always wanted to ask you a couple questions: Is it true Hatton would walk around over 180 pounds? And at how much does Arreola walk around at?

It would be great to have that kind of money though, I have never worn a suit before.

They say that because of his height, reach, and talent. You don't hear anyone complaining about Celestino Caballero at Super Bantamweight, he's 5'11" that's the same height as Roy Jones Jr, Carl Froch, Mike Tyson, taller than Oscar De La Hoya, Arthur Abraham, Winky Wright, Miguel Cotto, Floyd Mayweather, Shane Mosley Etc. and no one says anything. It's not about size, if PWill was a bum, he'd belong right there at WW without a doubt to these dumb posters. There's a difference between being too big and being too good, he beat Margarito in his prime so you can't blame anyone for avoiding him.

Me neither, don't worry man we'll wear a suit some day in our lives. It's inevitable.

I think that Pual Williams in the future, could maybe move all the way up to Light Heavyweight or cruiser weight if he wanted to.
