I don't want to see him lose, I just want to see him challenged. I really want to believe that he just might be the most talented fighter to ever put on a pair of gloves. Fight someone like Williams, Cotto or Mosley and prove it to me.
I never want to see Floyd lose, but I can understand why others do. Its for the same reason I pull for Pacquaio, Cotto, Berto, and Chad Dawson to be brutally KO'd every time out: I simply don't like them. And maybe with the exception of Cotto, I have been happy to see each one taste defeat, but then be given a gift win by the judges.
He ducked, dodged, then beat him 20 pounds from where he started.
If you ever get a chance to see that fight come back and tell me that with a straight face. Hagler was robbed blind. That goes down in history with whitaker vs Dela Hoya and Roy's silver medal. Hell, even his wife told him he lost.
in a way, i'd enjoy seeing him lose because he's the face of boxing and i don't think he's a very good person to represent boxing.
but most of the time, i don't want him to lose, necessarily, just fight the best. we all know he has the skills, and probably IS the best. but he never proves it by fighting top, A+ quality fighters anymore. it seems ever since he began the whole, "what more do i need to prove" attitude he literally hand picks guarenteed wins and it's ridiculous.
In the spirit of the thread, I don't see Floyd losing to most mentioned really. He is, as some have said, DEFINITELY, the fighter people LOVE to HATE. That's pretty much it in a nutshell.
