Why does Manny always fight Mexicans but never any black fighters?

First off no disrespect to Manny, and im not tryna be controversial, but just wanted to talk about an interesting trend. THIRTEEN of his last 14 fights have been against Mexicans or fighters of Mexican descent. In fact, Hatton will be the first non Mexican he has faced in his last ELEVEN fights. Correct me if im wrong, but in Manny's 53 pro fights, not a SINGLE one has come against a black fighter. That is pretty amazing

When Manny moved up to 135, he could have fought anyone, yet he chose David Diaz? Why didn't he fight Casamayor, who was the lineal champ, or Nate Campbell, who held 3 belts.

Then Manny moves up to 147 to fight Oscar, but no one can blame him for that since it is Oscar after all.

But after he defeated Oscar, he stated that he would eventually like to face Antonio Margarito. Yet when Mosley dominates Margarito, Manny has no interest whatsoever in fighting Mosley. Now there is even talk of him facing JCC Jr. down the line. And the pacquaio camp said they were not to excited to face Floyd Mayweather. While I know this is all talk, the point is, why does every potential fighter or fighter that Manny is interested in seem to be Mexican? After all, he is known as the Mexicutioner

So what are your thoughts, do you think there's a reason for this? (Maybe from a style standpoint and the whole brawler/boxer thing). Or is it just a mere coincidence? He's certainly had opportunities, and I don't think you can brush this off as a mere coincidence

you need to look up his history properly before you start making threads like this. his first fight in the states was against ledwaba (black) he fought sanchez (black) jorge julio (black)

He faced a couple black guys at 122. There's not a lot of little black fighters though honestly.

Ledwaba was arguably a top 5 win for him. He beat the hell out of Ledwaba, who was being hyped by HBO. It might be on youtube.

Yeah exactly. There are barely any black fighters at these weights. Only one I can think of recently is Mike Oliver who's on the slide and maybe Antonio Davis who got KO'ed by Soto last week.

Also, look at the money aspect. He can make a lot of money fighting a guy like Morales due to the marketing of a "rivalry" between Filipinos and Mexicans. Fighting Chavez Jr is easy money due to the marketing. Also, all of the guys we're talking about, Morales, Chavez, Diaz are all promoted by Top Rank. Bob Arum would be in complete control of the situation.

Mexican fghters have populated and dominated the lower weights he's fought at for the most part. And who gives a **** what race his opponents are anyway?
