In all fairness resume is normally based on who you beat rather than who you faced, otherwise Oscar would be top 5 ATG

Anyway, he only had 39 fights, if he had as much fights as the other fighters he'd have more champions on his resume

He also didn't face the best at WW, Compared to his other divisions he didn't look for the legacy fights

He has a solid resume nonetheless

For the record, legacies can often-times be based more on how you did things, not who you did it against.

Mayweather has reminaed undefeated, did it pretty safely with a great defense, out shone the better fighters he faced. And look at this list.

Out of the list of fighters he beat....

Hatton, Corrales, Castillo all went on and continued to hold on to and defend the TRUE titles in their respective divisions.

He's got a very solid resume.
