As larryx said... they are fighting for Hatton's 'The Ring Belt', at 140 (the weight class were Hatton is unbeaten) which is a point I didn't think about but is true.

Anyway you might say Pacquiao deserves 60/40 because he is P4P #1, but I disagree... both fighters are big draws to boxing, Hatton brings a lot of Brits to the venue and a lot of Brits buy his fights to support him. Pacquiao has a big fan base too and Phillipenoes will buy the fight and come to the venue to support there fighter. In which... both fighters are helping promoting the fight together... both fighters are equally generating money, so 50/50 is fair. Anyway... if Pacquiao wins am I mistaken that he will earn more money anyway?

Believe me, this fight is probably the most talked about at the moment... because both are popular fighters, so I think they should split it equally.

Hatton is the bigger draw, the Champion and willing to fight in America (which is already costing Ricky a lot of money) since a fight in the UK would be much more lucrative. Pac is lucky to be even getting a 50/50 cut. Hatton should just tell Pac to piss off and fight someone else in the UK.

Pacman is coming to his senses and realizing he cant beat Ricky at 140 so he's going to duck him by using the money excuse...

pacman made more money than hatton, and fought more bigger names than hatton. hatton is just fiening to fight pacquiao to revive his career cuz the last time he box with the #1 p4p boxer he got ko.

Unfortunately Hatton will bring in the more money of the pair in both ticket and PPV sales (in England not sure about USA) so 50/50 is more than fair.
