None of those are things Cotto can say.

If they were and in WW, it would be even more impressive and credit worthy, I agree. Perhaps not quite to the extent as you or some as I tend to think nearly half the top 10 p4p being Welterweights is a little over the top. But hey, I do agree.
Yeah Hatton is in my top 10 right now, he deserves to be ahead of Cotto. Hatton is constrained in terms of his p4p status because he would get beat by all the top guys at 147 and there is noone at 140 that he can fight that would significantly boost his status.

I'm waiting for you and others to vote for Clottey who was 2-0 with a TKO this year, went the distance to close fight with Margarito, lol

Absolutely. I'm positive on Hatton in terms of agreeing that he never deserved to go out of the top 10 and should be higher now, with his first loss to the p4p #1, when Cotto lost to someone not in it and is still there.

I'm slightly less positive on his future, in that I agree most top WW's beat him, and furthermore so will another bigger guy in ODL unfortunately.

Pavlik and Taylor both 1-1 this year were not stopped.
Nah i'd keep him in the top 10.

The onlyt one who could be P4P over Cotto is Williams and is because he have fought in 3 different weight classes and KO his opponents. People here are mistaking P4P. P4P criteria should be Resume and quality wins and difficulty in the division you are at. Cotto should be ahead of all those guys. 1 Loss doesnt drop you out of the list unless you where 9 or 10. POeople compare Cottos loss to Hattons loss. Just look at the opposition that Floyd beat before fighing HAtton and look at the opposition that Margarito fought before Cotto. Margarito fought way better opposition than Floy at WW. So losing to Margarito can not be worst that losing to Floyd in that particular moment. Again Hatton and Cotto deserve to be top 10 P4P, but Cotto should be higher, Dawson and Donaire and all those guys listed are not P4P quality yet. The havent done enough.

And to add Darcinyan Ko'd p4per Mijares one pf the more impressing wins. These fights were domination against pretty good competition...
                  Clottey-Judah
                  Dawson-Tarver
                  Donaire-Mthalane
                  Hatton-Malignaggi
                  Taylor-Lacy
                  Williams-Quintana/Phillips

Nonito Donaire is the only one who i believe is actually more skilled than Cotto and might win a hypothetical fight

I had 3 guys on the list that should be higher on the p4p list than cotto.. I had Ricky Hatton who beat paulie and lazcano, chad dawson, who took out tarver and glen johnson, and paul williams, who even though lost earlier in the year he avenged his loss by ko and got back his welterweight belt, koed a bum at middleweight, and took a belt and junior middleweight.. what has cotto done this year? beat gomez, who is a bum or average fighter at best and got tko by margarito.. sorry cotto if u were to be on my p4p list u would be at 10
