First off: After Camilla's brother was killed in that first fight Baer was devistated and seldom hit like he used to. Occasionally when he throws that right it is devistating. He might have had the hardest right, it ranks up there as one of them. His whole body and shoulders whip into it.
Baer could hit very hard you have to endure some pretty bad cheek to watch him, because he could be a clown, but when thrown properly that right was devistating.
Comparison to Tyson:
Baer had very long levers, his reach was up there, he also had lankiness and explosiveness. Tyson had explosiveness and speed, both guys were fast with the punch. The real difference might be the longer arms of Baer and the speed of Tyson. Tyson being shorter got there first, and could be more compact, Baer being rangier added more levering, potential energy to the punch from the centrifugal force.

Mike Tyson + Smaller /less padded gloves = Devastation
Theres simply no comparison to a Mike Tyson technique /accuracy /speed of how he delivered his punches . Anytime Tyson sat down on those upper cuts it was almost always lights out ,listen to Tysons body punches and tell me who hits harder ? lol

Body punches are a consideration and Max wasn't a body puncher. HIs power was the right...and it was not particularly accurate, but was explosive. Generally when he is compared it is in the category of "the right" but this does not preclude his right from being one of the hardest punches....if that makes any sense
