The 90's was probably the second best era in the history of heavyweight boxing, you have the perfect clash of old school heavyweights and the birth and rise of the super-heavyweight! This era of heavyweights have some of the games biggest punchers ever! David Tua, Tommy Morrison, Razor Ruddock, Shannon Briggs, Ike Ibeabuchi, Lennox Lewis, Mike Tyson, Frank Bruno, Ray Mercer! and the list can go on! there where so many talented fighters, and so many different body types who where talented enough to have success (And most of the top heavyweights where always in condition, there seemed to be a different culture back then!)...

When the 90's ended we saw the rise of the super-heavyweight, and this new culture that bigger automatically means better! Mike Tyson's last fight against Kevin Mcbride summed it up! Kevin Mcbride was a super-heavyweight who seemed psychologically challenged and devoid of any real co-ordination! Heavyweights in the 90's and 80's pretty much fought like BIG middle-weights in terms of co-ordination and intensity, and they where all impressive body types....
