Even though i find it dificult to watch....the 11th round in that fight has to rank as one of best and worst rounds in boxing history .....amazing action back and forth with a biiter and sad pill to swallow at the end...on that night watson was the master over eubanks and had him beat but he just got caught with a huge uppercut from nowhere.....this 11th round had everything and amazing to see michael watson regain most of his health

Chris Eubank is very modest when it comes to his own ability, he was one of the toughest ever British boxers! And he had serious power! at the 6 minute mark of this video? Chris Eubank reflects back on the fight....

Eubank always had the grit and power to come back against any opponent. Heck he battled twice at cruiserweight well past his best.
Watson was just silk. Such a fluid boxer and tough as nails himself, in this fight and ofc against Benn. Its just a shame he had be injured.
Glad his recovery is going well.

Eubank has said that getting back up in the 11th round of that fight is the most memorable moment of his career. Not the fact of going on to win but the fact of getting back up and continuing, even when the cards were stacked against him. He talks about it here, at Oxford Union:
Interesting tidbit, DJ Westwood (more well-known in UK than anywhere else, fronts UK version of 'Pimp My Ride', bit of a bellend tbh) was carrying one corner of the stretcher that was used to carry Watson to the ambulance. Anyway, glad that Watson is living a somewhat normal life
There is a movie being made about this fight and Watson's recovery - Nathanael Wilson (Eubank's 'other' son, the one he don't talk about...) will play Eubank!
