What did Mike Tyson have against Larry Merchant?

    Tyson has said many things hostile to white people. He always had a grudge against whites. He only used white people as stepping stones in his career, then abandoned them when he got famous.

    Tyson won't make up with rooney because he knows how badly he ****ed up by firing him and it would be an extremely emotional experience.

      Merchant blasted King for the Tokyo protest
      also blasted Tyson for going along with it, saying he won by KO
      after Tillman and Stewart fights, Mike wouldn't talk to Merchant
      but Merchant still gave some props to Mike in those fights
      HBO didn't drop Mike, Don King moved him to Showtime
      he didn't like Merchant's criticisms

          Merchant tells it as he sees it. So I can see how he tends to wind people up. I know at some point he became highly critical of Tyson, maybe it had to do with the way he fired all of his old associates and became a Don King man. It should also be pointed out that Merchant was quite vocal on the reason way Tyson lost to Douglas, saying that if Rooney was in his corner he would of never lost to a journeyman.
          Either way Don King gave Seth Abraham an ultimatum either Merchant walks or he takes Tyson somewhere else. Abraham stuck with Merchant.

          The Tyson-Holyfield fight should of happened before the Douglas fight, but King wanted to run out HBO's options, so he could selll Tyson-Holyfield to the highest bidder. Its the reason why Holyfield chose to fight Foreman instead of Tyson. King had made him wait, so now King could wait.

            Gtf out here with this bullshit. Tyson has said even more hostile things towards black people, does he hate them too? I mean he has got to by your logic, he's been using them and dumping them his entire career.

            I can see the disdain for all white people written all over his face in this photo.

                      Firing somebody is a business decision, and he did the same to many black people who work for him including Don King, who made him more money than ANYBODY.
