How good was his resume OF WINS?

damn good. had a string of impressive wins in a very good LHW division, particularly over Matt Saad Muhammad, James Scott, Mike Rossman, Jerry Martin and Eddie Davis. had Mike Spinks not been around, he might have been able to rule the division for some time.

unfortunately I think he was obsessed with getting to HW instead of staying in shape and sticking around at LHW. that held his career back a bit imo.

They got into it once. It was at the press conference for Spinks/Eddie Mustafa II(which never came off because Eddie didn't make the 175 limit). Qawi and Eddie Mustafa had to be restrained from each other. Would have been a good fight.
