I'd put Jones in at 3rd.

I know the history of the division is mighty deep, but Tunney at #18? Really!?

He is my vote for the best of the lot. I cannot see him outside the top-10, in all fairness.

Unrelated. One fella active at the time of issue, who has since retired, is Michael Moorer. He might sneak into the back-end of some peoples' top-20, though looking at the honourable mentions there, I doubt it.

That was the first thing I noticed to and wondered of it was a fan poll. No Harry Greb? Saad Muhammad at 10? Strange list.

And Mills? Williams? Greb beat five men on that list (Loughran, Rosenbloom, Tunney, Dillon and Levinsky) and three others (Delaney, Carpentier, Siki) wouldn't face him. That's a better 175lb resume than many of those listed. At least they got #1 right.

I can't see Tunney being out of the TOP 5. He's the only Light Heavy that ever made a real mark on the heavyweight division. I think the following are absolutely in the TOP 5. The only question is who else get's included.

                  Gene Tunney (in chronological order)
                  Archie Moore
                  Ezzard Charles
                  Michael Spinks

                    Quite an odd list.
