His sparring partner seems to be mimicking Joe Frazier so this was probably him in training camp for their 1st or 2nd fight.


I can't make out who the sparring partner is, can you?

Towards the end Ali is skipping rope, stretching and punching the heavy bag.

He definitely looks in awesome shape - almost the perfect athletic specimen.


I loved the series of popping jabs he throws around the 4.40 min mark.


Thanks for the sparring partners name. He is listed as 6'5 on boxrec and he seems about the same height as Ali in the vid. Maybe 'cause of his style? He has a sort of crouching style and leans with his head - nice left hook too.
