Fighters who have been an inspiration to you.

    Title is all.

Joe Louis has been a big inspiration to me, he seemed such a nice guy who helped ot anybody, gave a lot of his purses to charities and helped with the war effort for free (I think but, clarification is needed) only to have his life screwed over.
A sad story but, the man remained humble throughout.

Joe Frazier. The physical being of heart and determination, and the man who taught me how to fight. But he didnt only teach me how to fight, he taught me how to live. My life was going in a bad direction until i started to box at his gym. Even though i boxed for a few years before i was never taught by some one like Joe. He taught me to never take no for answer and to always get up and move forward. Just like he did in the ring.

        Brian London and Alexis Arguello.

London lives in the same town as me and comes down to the Gym every now and then, he's a great guy and he's helped me a long a lot with many things, has some great stories too and he's one of the few boxers who have achieved a great life after retiring.

Alexis Arguello, for everything he's done.

        Edit: Oh and Duran.

Micky Ward, Alexis Arguello, Arturo Gatti, Tyson. The first two because of how they treated everyone the met and fought with respect. Gatti because of his real life 'Rocky' persona. And Tyson's intimidation. But I honestly am inspired by any man who laces the gloves up and steps into a ring.

I took the liberty of bolding the convicted rapists of your post.

Oscar De La Hoya...poor hispanic kid who went from living in a duplex and granting his dying mother her wish of him becoming an olympic gold medalist then going on to become a champ in 6 different weight classes, PPV King, multi millionaire, successful promoter and owning magazine companies to sports teams.
