Another side note is how much weight should we give to Amateur record and Olympics? I had Laszlo Papp in my top 200 not just for his 27-0 record but also for his great olympic record and gold medals. The fact is the professional record should have most weight; but amateur and olympics should get a little consideration. A guy like Papp won 3 Gold Medals in both JR MW and MW divisions, it should count for something.

Although, we know olympics have a history of robberies just look at the 1988 Seoul Olympics and Roy Jones jr; i fight that i saw live and was in disbelief.

I put majority weight on Professional Career. But international competition has some weight especially when a guy like Papp won Gold medals in 3 different olympics and adds a little more weight to his 27-0 record. If your professional record is mediocore and your amateur great; than you don't make my list. But i have 2 undefeated fighters like a Papp and john doe; than Papp breaks the tie with his 3 gold medals.

There is also the issue with winning titles; there are many great fighters that never won a title and that alone is reason for some not to include them. Some people will never include Young Stribling because he lost to Max and had a questionable Draw in his other title shot, yet i still include him on my list.

But that is the beauty of people having their own list they include any criteria they deem important.

longetivity and mainsteam appeal

I consider top 100 to be ATG while 101-120 to be borderline ATG...
