After seeing Poet's effort to bring some quality back to this section I decided to make more threads soon. lets rank heavyweights from the 00s, 90s, 80s, 70s, 60s, 50s, 40s etc. Make a top 10 for each decade and do atleast the last 5 era's.

Like him or not I think Ruiz should be in the 5 spot and move everyone else down one. He was much more accomplished than Tua, Maskeav, Brewster, Rahman or McCline. Everything else I agree with.

All 10 fighters on my 60's list would have beaten Cooper.. I'd have had Folley at 11 with Cooper at no12..

No 'Big Cat'... Exposed by Liston and destroyed by Ali.. Far too chinny for my liking..

No Quarry in the 70's because he did'nt have any meaningful fights in the 70's..

Middleton had a DC win over a young Bugner, but that's about it.. Never fought an ATG, never fought for a title..

Lennox Lewis was no1 in the 90's.. Do a poll, and you'll see for yourself..

David Haye - Well apart from those i've ranked above him, who do you see beating him?

Douglas - Had 2 good performances in his whole career (McCall & Tyson)
Other than that, he let himself down at every opportunity..

McCall - Lost to Douglas and Bruno.. Has'nt got it mentally..

Rahman - One hit wonder who's lost to everyone, including an ancient Holyfield..

Berbick - One points win against an ageing Pinklon Thomas, that's it!

Mike Weaver - Not a bad fighter.. Takes 11th spot..

Tua's the Earnie Shavers of his era.. He's got a punchers chance against anyone he hits.. Both Moorer and Ruiz will pay testiment to that..

Earnie Shavers,Ron Lyle and Mac foster........three men who frazier wanted nothing to do with and Quarry took them all apart.

Berbick - One points win against an ageing Pinklon Thomas, that's it!
