It's clear Barrera won the fight but it's not like he dominated it.

He actually did, he had a point taken which made the scores not as wide as they would of been.

Hamed got clowned, his fights up to that point had exposed his style and Barrera rubber stamped his label as the biggest fraud of the era.

His fans make out he got worse after Ingle left but the truth is, he never really had a good performance in his career where he did not get nailed when he was fighting World Class opposition, well maybe you could say Robinson but Robinson's style was tailor made for Hamed.

Hamed could of been 100% focused against Soto, Barrera, Kelly etc and we still of looked like **** because technically he was poor!

I gave like 3-4 rounds to Hamed so I wouldn't call it a shut-out. He wasn't the same fighter at the time but if you wanna believe he was then that's your opinion.

I don't think he was hurt against Barrera. The way he was standing made him look hurt when he took shots because he basically had his hands down. I just wish he applied better defense to his style instead of relying on reflexes.

I don't know how you can call him the biggest fraud of the era. He beat a lot of good fighters. It's just that technically he was flawed against Barrera and, in my opinion, past his prime.

I wish the fight would've happened sooner.

It was a shut out. You did not need to score that fight to know who won, no one in their right mind would of called Hamed the winner, what does that tell you?

Logic leads me to that conclusion, he never performed well against World Class fighters, unless he scored a quick KO where they did not get a chance to hit him(Bungu) or the one time when he fought Robinson who was!! tailor made for hist style.

I never said he was hurt though, did i?

Why? his flaws would of still been there, Barrera won with skill and Boxing brain, Hamed could not counter act that no matter which point they fought, i can maybe understand if there was a point in his career where he was looking unbeatable against World Class fighters but he never looked like that, he always got nailed when he stepped into World Class.

When Jones beat Hopkins it was clear that Jones won. But he didn't dominate.

There's maybe a few fights where he was behind on the cards. Most likely due to knockdowns. That was Hamed. Get knocked down, get up and knock them out.

I'm just saying that people might sometimes over-exaggerate the fight by thinking Hamed was hurt when he just looked hurt.

Hamed had a way of getting to anybody. If he was in his prime it would've been a different story. Not saying would definitely win but he would've had a much better chance.

Your posts give Hamed no credit whatsoever , you just say "hypejob exposed" etc. We all know he was flawed but he was exciting and brought lots of new fans to boxing . Giving him no credit for what he accomplished is just foolish on your part.

Jones vs Hopkins was a phony war(chess match) Barrera was landing solid punches on Hamed and snapping his head back. Its also conceivable that even though Jones won that someone may!! or could of thought Hopkins won the fight, because there were so few punches landed from both guys in each round, that the rounds were won extremely narrowly, then its just down to interpretation, scorecard vary wildly in those circumstances.

Yeah but power did not bail him out against Mab, that is the difference between why he won those fights and lost to Mab.

Much better chance of what, he would still of had to figure out the same puzzle style wise, he would still of had a **** defence and no adaptability. The only chance he had of beating Mab was landing a bomb, Barrera was too smart to let that happen, that is why he circled the right way, made him be the aggressor and owned the fraudster.

If someone thinks Hopkins won that fight then their scorecard shouldn't be considered seriously.

Barrera had great defense in that fight. No denying it. I'm not saying Hamed won the fight. I'm simply saying that it wasn't a prime version of Hamed.

Hamed's reflexes and power weren't really shown that night. He had much better reflexes and power in his prime.

Like I said. I give the victory to Barrera but it still wasn't over a prime Hamed. But that doesn't mean I rate Barrera less than Hamed. If both were on a top 10 list of great fighters, I would have Barrera ahead.

It's pretty clear that you don't like Hamed (and love Barrera) but you don't have to bash him by calling him a fraudster in almost every post. Admiration and despise has its limits.

You are taking away from Barrera's win by keep saying that Hamed was not prime, dont say your not because you are!! Hamed's record pre Barrera does not support any of what you say, if there was point where he was fighting world class and not getting ****** about then i could see where you are going with it, but he was getting nailed when Ingle was in his corner, Alicea was his second defence and he was getting knocked down, he was getting nailed by Boom Boom, Medina the list goes on, Kelly had him all over the shop to, not because Hamed was past prime but because MAB was better

He is a fraud!! im sorry.
