That was more of a bolo punch than an uppercut, a half uppercut half hook.

Carl Froch has the best uppercut of all time.

yes i agree with you.. but Muhammad Ali used his uppercut in all his fights, he was the master of that punch.. Walcott`s vs Charles (3) was i agree the most devastating ive ever seen

Are you referring to the first knockdown of Oscar bonavena? If so that was a left hook. And a perfectly timed one too

Lennox Lewis got great leverage on his upercut. He threw some nasty ones. Anyoen who saw that Vitali fight knows what im talking about, Credit to Vitali for not folding right there

JMM throws a great one aswell

Ibeabuchi-Byrd is another good mention, that punch was monstrous.

For sure. Even though it wasn't a one hitter quitter, it looked like something that would break a normal mans neck.

To this day, that's one of the best punches I've seen landed in a professional fight. It seemed like it was thrown at 2x speed.

I think it may have been even better than a simple stoppage - Byrd was drooling like a newborn and bitching at the ref simultaneously.

Incidentally also some of Merchant's funniest commentary. "He claimed it wasn't a knockdown, it WAS a knockdown, and he never...stopped...BITCHIN"

Arguello ruined Olivares' world w/ this one.

HAHA he was. He had a couple of drool moments after rising from the canvas. Must have been hard for him to multi-task at that point.

"Get up before 10, act normal"

"Avoid punches, make it out of the round Chris"

                      "F.uck...I'm drooling *close mouth*"
