would geralrd mclellan have been the greatest fighter ever

from the few fights ive seen and the benn fight where he beat the **** out of benn till the head butt. he was a killer after the 2 decision losses ,he became more agressive and with that power and foot speed it was sickening.. he had way more power then roy and much better technically.. i cant imagine anybody beating him but i heard toney had mastered him and that he didnt like to fight inside according to toney...

McClellan said "James Toney was a boy in my hands when we threw hands as kids, and he'd be a boy in my hands if we threw hands again."

Toney used to go to the Kronk to spar in the fall of '88.

McClellan, his career was over before it really began. He's really an unknown quantity to be honest, what we saw of him he just jumped in and knocked everyone out in one round! He said after the first Jackson fight that it was his sloppiest ever performance because he'd never been on as big a stage before and was nervy. Manny Steward in 1992 called McClellan "the best I've ever had" and an incarcerated Mike Tyson described McClellan as "the best fighter in the world".

the ref protected bothj during the fight so he wasn;t bias he just wanted the fight to last.

the headbutt was early on in the fight whe benn fell

the G-man was tired but ok untill he recieved a jarring uppercut at the end

I didnt say anything about the first round did i u ****** bushwacker.

I said there was no headbutt, Benn fell forward, and his dreads caught McClellan in his eye.
If a fighter gets knocked out of the ring he is allowed longer to get back in. He wasnt knocked out, but struggling with the ropes to try and get back in the ring. The fight should have continued, and it did. With Benn winning by KO.

If anyone can be critisized in that fight it was McLellans corner for not realizing he was in trouble earlier.
