Eddie Hearn hosted a double presser in London earlier today to unveil new signing Dillian Whyte (16-1, 13 KOs) as well as bringing George Groves (23-3, 18 early) and Martin Murray (33-3-1, 16 stoppages) face-to-face ahead of their June 25 fight at London's O2 Arena.  Groves's WBA International title is on the line in that one and it also serves as an eliminator for the WBA Super middleweight world title.

Hearn also confirmed that Whyte has hooked up with father and son team Jimmy and Mark Tibbs in a bid to add some finesse to his fighting style. 

“I'm really excited to have signed Dillian,” revealed Hearn.  “I wanted him as part of the team after his performance in December [L KO 7 against Anthony Joshua].   He has linked up with Mark and Jimmy Tibbs—it's a great move.”

“Dillian Whyte is a natural box-fighter and he reads a fight well,” added Mark Tibbs.  “He will be a danger in the heavyweight scene.”

“December 12 was a huge night for me,” said Whyte.  “I had a massive shoulder problem, but I wasn't going to let my fans down.  There are a few little things that I need to work on, I need to be less of a caveman and use more scientific methods.”

He added: “Get me two warm-up fights and I'll be ready for the more experienced guys.  I want to give the fans great nights.”

As he was leaving the venue, Whyte was confronted by Dereck “Del Boy” Chisora, who called for an all-London showdown with Whyte.  Chisora is also coming off a defeat after dropping a split decision to Kubrat Pulev in Germany earlier this month, so a Chisora-Whyte fight could be a viable option if both men secure comeback wins next time out.
