At Emperor's Palace in Kempton Park, South Africa - Rodney Berman of Golden Gloves Promotions presented a well received event, broadcast live on SuperSport, with Thomas Oosthuizen (11-0-1, 9KOs) winning the IBO super middleweight title with a stoppage of Colombian Evert Bravo (16-2, 11KOs) in the ninth round. Oosthuizen has fast hands and harder punches in the contest. He had Bravo in trouble in the fourth, but couldn't finish him. In the ninth round, the referee stepped in after Bravo was taking too much punishment in every round of the fight. Oosthuizen had previously won the IBO Youth light-heavyweight, the IBO Youth super middleweight and the WBA Pan-African super-middleweight belts.

On The Undercard

Isaac Chilemba (18-1-1, 8KOs) won the vacant WBC International light-heavyweight title when he beat Namibian Vikapita Meroro (20-2, 9KOs). The scores were 117-111, 118-112 and 119-110.

Sipho Taliwe (17-2, 14KOs) retained his WBC International junior lightweight title when he beat Vinvin Rufino (29-13, 3KOs) on a split decision. The scores were 116-110 and 113-112 for Taliwe and 115-111 for Rufino.

In a battle of undefeated heavyweight punchers, Flo Simba (10-0, 9KOs) stopped Brazilian Fernando de Almeida (8-1, 8KOs) in less than a minute of the first round to win the vacant IBO Youth heavyweight title.

Tshifhiwa Munyai (21-2, 10KOs) won the vacant IBO super bantamweight belt when he beat Danilo Pena (22-9, 10KOs) from the Philippines. The scores were 120-108, 118-110 and 119-109.
