Artur Szpilka issued a stern warning on Saturday night, prior to the heavyweight fight between Mike Mollo (21-5-1, 13 KOs) and Krzysztof Zimnoch (18-1-1, 12 KO).

Spilka was doing ringside commentary at the Arena Hall in Legionowo, Poland.

He was asked for his opinion on which fighter was the bigger puncher, Mollo or current WBC heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder.

Szpilka has two memorable wars with Mollo in 2013. The Polish contender was dropped hard and badly hurt in both contests, but managed to come back and knock Mollo out both times.

Szpilka seemed to take Wilder's punches a lot better, until he walked right into a huge counter-shot that knocked him out cold in the ninth round last month in Brooklyn.

"Wilder knocked out me and Mollo did not, but Wilder caught me purely with a counter-punch as I was coming in. But if I had to say who hits harder, who has stronger punches - Mollo left a much greater impression on me," Szpilka said.

Zimnoch did not listen to any of Szpilka's warnings prior to the contest, and he was demolished in one round by Mollo's big power punches. Zimoch went down twice and was very hurt when the referee waved off the fighter.

On paper Mollo seemed to be a veteran opponent who was being fed to an up and coming contender. Mollo was coming back from a very long stint of inactivity, with his last fight taking place in August 2013 when he was knocked out in the rematch with Szpilka. The KO of Zimnoch was also Mollo's first win since 2010.

Zimnoch wants an immediate rematch.

"Hopefully, Mollo will give us a rematch. Sometimes you just have to fall, and then get up even stronger. One can be sure, we still believe in Zimnoch," said promoter Tomasz Babilonski. "We want a rematch because Chris is certainly a better fighter, but these things happen."
