Junior welterweights Subriel Matias and Roberto Ramirez both weighed in at 140lbs on Friday, landing on the junior welterweight limit for Saturday’s main event at Ruben Rodriguez Coliseum in Bayamon, Puerto Rico.

The 10-round bout will headline a five-fight card streaming on PPV.com.

Matias, a former junior welterweight titleholder, is returning for the first time since a unanimous decision loss to Liam Paro in June. Matias, 20-2 (20 KOs), a 32-year-old from Puerto Rico, is eager to rebound. Ramirez, 31, from San Diego, has a record of 26-3-1 (19 KOs) and enters the fight on a three-bout win streak following a 2020 knockout loss to William Zepeda.

In the co-feature, bantamweight Jeyvier Cintron weighed in at 118lbs, while Rashib Martinez came in a little over a pound over the contracted weight limit at 119.2lbs. Cintron, 29, from Puerto Rico, stands at 12-1 (9 KOs) and is pursuing his second win of 2024 after a lengthy hiatus following a New Year’s Eve loss to former titleholder Kazuto Ioka at junior bantamweight. Martinez, 27, of Mexico, enters on a three-fight win streak. Only Cintron is eligible for the secondary title on the line.
