Undisputed middleweight world champion Claressa Shields is looking for a major challenge, after picking up a dominating one-sided decision win on Saturday night at Little Caesars Arena in Detroit.
It was one-way action for ten rounds, with Shields proving to be a class above mandatory challenger Maricela Cornejo.
It was the first fight for Shields since traveling to London last fall, to win a tough decision over career rival Savannah Marshall.
"I definitely earned this right [to have a hometown fight]," Shields said to Sky Sports. "Coming to the UK to take [Marshall's] belt and become undisputed for the third time, that was a huge risk and I was able to go over there, get the job done, solidify my GWOAT-ness some more.
"When I get hit hard, I get mad and I want to hit you back harder than you hit me. I want to stand there and fight. I want to show you that the I'm best. I'm going to go in your backyard and dog-walk you in front of 20,000 people. That's me."
Shields believes her division, combined with super middleweight, could create a 'Four Kings' scenario - drawing inspiration from the 80s, when Sugar Ray Leonard, Tommy Hearns, Roberto Duran and Marvin Hagler all fought each other.
"Of course, why not? Right now, thinking about the middleweight division plus super middleweight division, to talk about 'Four Queens,' we got me, you got Franchon [Crews-Dezurn], you got Savannah Marshall and you have Shadasia Green, if I had to think about the 'Four Queens' right now," Shields said.
Marshall is heading up super middleweight to challenge Franchon Crews-Dezurn for the undisputed championship on July 1.
Shields will be a keeping a close eye on the outcome - as she may target the winner.
However, Green (12-0, 11 KOs) is also waiting on the sidelines. She's a dangerous, unbeaten puncher, and the mandatory challenger to the WBC title at 168.
