Ricardo Rodriguez and David Quijano are all set for their Telemundo-televised headliner, as both fighters made weight in advance of Friday's super flyweight clash at Tony Rosa Community Center in Palm Bay, Florida.

Rodriguez and Quijano both came in right at the 115-pound super flyweight limit for their scheduled 10-round bout, which marks the final stateside show of the 2016 Boxeo Telemundo boxing season.

The regional title fight is a rematch to a June clash in Tampa, in which Rodriguez (14-3, 4KOs)  claimed a 10-round decision. The win was the second straight for Los-Angeles based Mexican boxer, who has won all five of his previous appearances in Tampa, a streak interrupted only by a points loss to countryman David Carmona in their rematch on this very weekend one year ago in Mexico City.

Quijano (16-6-1, 9KOs) comes in having lost four of his last five starts - including the aforementioned setback versus Rodriguez - but has proven to be a tough nut to crack. The 30-year old from Caguas, Puerto Rico has never been dropped or stopped in more than 10 years as a pro and enjoyed a minor upset victory in a 10-round win over Daniel Lozano this past March on the road in Tampa.

Among his previous conquerors include Omar Narvaez - who was a long-reigning super flyweight champ at the time - and McJoe Arroyo, who later went on to capture a major title.
