Robert Parzeczewski dropped Sladan Janjanin five times en route to a one-sided decision victory Saturday night at the Hotel Arlamow in Arlamow, Poland.

All three judges scored the bout 80-67 for Parzeczewski, who improves to 25-1, 16 knockouts.

Parzeczewski was returning to action since his unanimous decision victory over Patrick Mendy on October 4. His most notable victory occurred in his previous fight on April 6, stopping former contender Dmitrii Chudinov in the second round.

The 29-year-old Janjanin had not fought since by decision to Martin Murray on November 15.

Parzeczewski dropped Janjanin once during the opening round, following up his attack to the body by dropping Janjanin twice more during the second round. Janjanin was game, but was in defensive mode as he dropped a fourth time by Parzeczewski in round three.

Janjanin could have remained on his stool going into the fourth, but tried to fight back, only to be dropped again moments into round five. For the rest of the fight, Janjanin but stood in the pocket in an attempt to outbox Parzeczewski, as he was in survival mode during the final two rounds, but was able to make it to the final bell.

The 26-year-old Parzeczewski is ranked No. 8 by the WBO at 175 pounds. Parzeczewski’s last three fights have been fought at around the super middleweight limit.

Janjanin, who resides in Prijedor, Bosnia and Herzegovina, drops to 27-6, 21 KOs.

Fringe featherweight contender Kamil Laszczyk stopped Piotr Gudol at the end of the fifth round to win by knockout.

Laszczyk, who has a decision victory over former IBF junior lightweight titleholder Tevin Farmer in March 2012, dropped Gudol with a three-punch combination in round four.

The shorter Gudol was in trouble again in round 5, as he was dropped by a right uppercut-left hook combination to the head. He would beat the count, but would get dropped a third time in the fight by a barrage of punches to the head, prompting referee Robert Gortat to stop the fight at 2:59.

Saturday’s fight was a rematch from their October 2016 clash, which Laszczyk easily won by unanimous decision.

In an upset on paper, journeyman Przemyslaw Gorgon defeated former fringe contender Patrick Szymanski by split-decision over six rounds.

One judge scored the bout 57-56 for Szymanski while the other two judges scored the bout 58-55 for Gorgon, who improves to 11-6-1, 5 KOs.

Szymanski, who has mostly fought as a junior middleweight and middleweight, notched his best win of his career in July 2016, defeating former world title challenger Wilky Campfort by unanimous decision. He has not been able to build off of that win as he has now lost four of his last five bouts, including Saturday’s loss.

After a competitive first three rounds, Gorgon began to impose his will on Szymanski in round four, beating him to the punch and being the more-effective fighter on the inside. Gorgon punctuated his victory in round 6 by dropping Szymanski to the canvas.

Hard-hitting heavyweight prospect Lukasz Rosanski (12-0, 11 KOs) dropped Eriks Kalasnikovs (10-9-1, 8 KOs) of Latvia twice in the opening round before knocking him out at 1:18 of the second round.

Junior middleweight Tomasz Nowicki defeated Bartosz Glowacki (4-2, 3 KOs) by unanimous decision over six rounds. All three judges scored the bout 58-56 for Nowicki, who improves to 5-0, 2 KOs.
