Ardeal Holmes returns to action on Thursday, December 12, when Salita Boxing goes back to Dort Financial Center in Flint, Michigan.
Flint’s Holmes is 16-0 (6 KOs), and the 154-pounder goes in with French veteran Ahmed El Mousaoui, who is 35-6-1 (9 KOs).
Also on the card, middleweight Joey Spencer, 18-1 (11 KOs), from Fenton, boxes over 10 rounds in pursuit of his third consecutive win since his March 2023 defeat to Jesus Ramos.
The Big Time Boxing USA bill on DAZN also includes Da’Velle “Hitman 2.0” Smith, and Leon Lawson III and Spencer will be fighting in Michigan as a professional for the second time.
“It was the best experience to fight in front of fans and friends from all over the state,” Spencer said. “I grew up fighting alongside Ardreal Holmes and Leon Lawson – training and traveling together, even sparring each other as we reached the same weight class.”
Smith, 10-0 (8 KOs), hailed by some as Detroit’s finest middleweight prospect since Tommy Hearns, was last seen defeating Gilberto Pereira dos Santos in Puerto Rico and now meets Virginia Beach’s William Townsel, 8-1 (6 KOs).
Flint’s Lawson, 16-1 (9 KOs), cousin to Anthony and Andre Dirrell, will compete after his September stoppage of Argentinian Luis Alberto Veron while former world title challenger Byron Rojas, 28-4-3 (11 KOs), and Lexington, Kentucky’s Samantha Worthington – tipped as a future star by Claressa Shields – will be in action.
