Garcia came out pressing the action and being very aggressive to impose his will on the young prospect. Tellez was using accurate punching when the openings were present, but Garcia was throwing a lot of punches - although many of the shots were not connecting well.

In the third, a two punch combination badly hurt and dropped Garcia. He got up on very unsteady legs and got battered against the ropes until the fight was waved off.
