The Forum, Mexico City - Family history was made as both of the Garcia brothers are now holding titles around their waists. The Garcia brothers are the only championship siblings next to the Klitschko brothers.

WBO minimumweight champion Raul Garcia (30-1-1, 18 KOs) stopped Rommel Asenjo (20-3, 16 KOs) in the third round. Garcia was too strong for the brave Filipino and sent him crashing in the third. A series of shots in the same round would end the fight as the referee stopped the action.

Ramon Garcia (16-2-1, 9 KOs) stopped Jesus Geles (12-2-1, 5 KOs) in the fourth round of their heated rematch. In February, Geles captured the vacant WBO interim-junior flyweight title with a split decision over Garcia. The first fight took place in Colombia. This time Garcia had the home crowd's support. Garcia put Geles down in the first and finished him off for the full count in the fourth.

Rodrigo 'Gato' Guerrero (15-3-1, 10KOs) stopped Panamanian Leopoldo Arrocha (10-16-2, 6 KOs) in the fourth round. Guerrero was cut in the second on his right eyebrow after a clash of heads. He fired off a series of body shots to end the fight in the fourth round.
