Magsayo started fast in the first, with a quick shot that dropped Ceja. The Mexican veteran beat the count as Magsayo was showing off his hand speed. Ceja was pressing forward and trying to force exchanges with Magsayo. Ceja was targeting the body often.
There was plenty of trading during the second. Ceja was hitting the body often. The action was evening up in the third, with Ceja being very active and digging to the body. Magsayo was looking for openings during the fourth, with Ceja being very active and coming forward. Both had moments. Ceja seemed to have the edge in the fifth. Magsayo's nose was bleeding and Ceja was battering his body. Ceja landed a big combination that dropped Magsayo at the end of the round.
Ceja came out pressing in the sixth, going right back to the body and battering Magsayo with heavy shots. Magsayo was coming back in the seventh to make the round close. The action continued to be close in the eight, with Ceja pressing the activity. More the same in the ninth. During the tenth, Magsayo let his hands go and landed a huge shot to knock Ceja out cold in the corner.
