On Wednesday afternoon, junior middleweight contender Ishe Smith (24-5, 11 KO’s) could be found inside of the Mayweather Boxing Club in Las Vegas, as his training camp continued to push forward ahead of his February 23rd challenge of IBF champion Cornelius ‘K9’ Bundrage (32-4, 19 KO’s).
Smith put in some lively work, sparring four five-minute rounds and one six-minute round with talented middleweight prospect Luis ‘Cuba’ Arias. The action picked up as the rounds went by, with the two stable mates playfully talking trash towards the end of their session.
The 34-year old Smith has been dying for an opportunity like this and there is a great ambience inside of the gym as he inches closer to his title shot.
