Hollywood, Fla: Light heavyweight "Bad" Chad Dawson 30-1-0 is training strong to get revenge against Bernard Hopkins on April 28th at the Boardwalk Hall of Atlantic City. Dawson was recently putting in some work at the Lucky Street Gym in Hollywood, Florida. The former champion put in a hard sparring sesson for twelve rounds.
Dawson sparred for six rounds with the Cuba's Yordanis Despaigne, and another six versus other boxers involved in his training camp.
When he finished his work, Chad said - "Bernard did not want to come out and fight in the first bout, but now its going to be different and we will come in there in the best condition of my career."
"We are prepared to fight for twelve rounds. We are not looking for the knockout. If we see the opportunity to knock him out, that will be good. Otherwise, we will be prepared to finish the fight and demonstrate that I can beat Hopkins."
