A few days after closing his training camp, WBC super featherweight champion Miguel “Alacrán” Berchelt conducted an open media training at the Caballeros Team gym in the Los Jardines neighborhood, north of Hermosillo, Sonora.

Berchelt (35-1-0, 31 KO’s) will make the fifth defense of the precious green belt and gold on May 11 against Francisco “Bandido” Vargas (25-1-2, 18 KO’s) in a rematch. This keenly anticipated fight will take place at the Convention Center in Tucson, Arizona,  and it is presented by Top Rank in association with Zanfer Promotions and Max Boxing.

“Alacrán” Berchelt has undergone an intense preparation of two months on the cities of Los Mochis and Hermosillo, showing he`s good and ready for the rematch against Vargas. 

The card will be televised in Mexico by Azteca 7, and in the United States and the world by ESPN
