Liverpool boxer Paul Smith insists George Groves will not have the punching power to frighten him when they meet in London on Saturday night. Smith, 28, challenges Groves, 23, for the British and Commonwealth super middleweight titles at Wembley Arena. Smith hopes that victory on Saturday night will help to set up a rematch with European champion James DeGale and is confident he will get the job done against Groves.

He told BBC Radio Merseyside: "I've had 17 knockouts and, if you look at them, every single one has hit the floor hard. I don't think he can punch as hard as everyone thinks. When have we seen a knockout when he's had a kid out cold? Every stoppage he's had they've been on their feet or gone down and got back up. They've stayed there while the count has been called and there are paramedics called in straight away. The difference in punch power between the two of us is definitely in my favor."
