Oleksandr Usyk’s promoter Alex Krassyuk has said that he wants the unified heavyweight champion of the world to become the undisputed champion of the world again.

Usyk defeated Fury for the undisputed title in May, but relinquished the IBF version for Daniel Dubois, who made his first defense against Anthony Joshua at Wembley Stadium in September.

Usyk retained his WBA, WBC, and WBO belts against Tyson Fury in Riyadh on Saturday night. Dubois is set to fight Joseph Parker on February 22 at the same venue in his second title defense.

After Usyk-Fury II, Dubois stormed the ring and called out Usyk – and that is the fight Krassyuk would most like for his champion.

“Daniel Dubois is the champ – if you ask me, I would love Usyk to become undisputed the third time,” he told FightHub. Usyk enjoyed undisputed reigns at cruiser and heavyweight.

“That is something I would love to see. Usyk asked Turki Alalshikh to arrange the fight with Daniel Dubois but it’s a little bit early, because Daniel Dubois is fighting Joseph Parker, who’s a beast from New Zealand. And my bet is with Joseph. Not because I disrespect Daniel just because I consider Joseph Parker’s skills higher than Daniel’s.”

During fight week, Wladimir Klitschko had been asked about a possible return, indicating that he would not come back if Usyk won as he would not fight his friend and countryman.

Asked whether, with Usyk having won, there was any chance of an Usyk-Klitschko bout in the future, Krassyuk replied: “Impossible. Zero. Not even zero. It’s negative.”
