Just two days before the Manny Pacquiao vs. Adrien Broner showdown, Mayweather Promotions is gifting the fans with the opportunity to enjoy a complimentary night of boxing with the presentation of Thursday Night Fights on January 17 headlined by Las Vegas fan favorite, Cameron “Suave” Krael (14-13-3, 3KOs) who will kick off his 2019 return to the ring from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. The event is set to take place on Thursday, Jan. 17.
Krael has made a name for himself and has become a Las Vegas fan favorite, as he’s faced tough competition over the course of his career where everything hasn’t always gone his way. He’s proven his resilience in the sport and has continued to stay dedicated to perfecting his craft and advancing his career. This appearance marks Krael’s return to the ring after earning a unanimous decision victory over Mexico’s Jose Borrego back in September of last year.
“Training has been great, and I feel strong and ready to go get the job done,” shared Krael. “I have a family to feed so I’m ready to go and hunt.”
The night’s co-feature will see Mayweather Promotions’ eight-time, five division world champion, Layla “Amazing” McCarter (42-13-5, 5 KOs), who will look to continue her current win streak when she steps in the ring on fight night.
“This fight was made on short notice, but I am prepared and ready,” says McCarter. “Reynoso has never been dropped or stopped, but she has never fought me. I’d like to end it early.”
Further undercard action features Mayweather Promotions’ rising talent who will battle in action in separate bouts including hard-hitting super middleweight contender Lanell “KO” Bellows (18-3-2, 11 KOs), undefeated former Olympian Richardson Hitchins (6-0, 3 KOs), unbeaten super featherweight prospect Andres “Savage” Cortes (9-0, 5 KOs), talented New Jersey native Dylan “The Real Dyl” Price (7-0, 5 KOs), unbeaten knockout artist Rolando “Rollies” Romero (6-0, 5 KOs), and cruiserweight prospect Viddal Riley (1-0).

Cameron “Suave” Krael (14-13-3, 3 KOs) recently picked up the biggest victory of his career thus far when he triumphed over top super lightweight prospect Jose Borrego via unanimous decision where he showcased his talent in a 10-round all-out brawl in the main event on September 22 of last year. The 25-year old is always prepared take care of business in the ring. Focused and determined, Krael won’t allow anything to derail him in his ascension to becoming a top contender in the Super Lightweight division. He’s is an explosive fighter, with a tough chin, and has gained his experience through the tough competition that he has encountered.
Fighting of Las Vegas, Nev., former world champion Layla “Amazing” McCarter (42-13-5, 11KOs) will return to the ring in Las Vegas after her most recent victory on June 16, 2018 where she defeated Eva Bajic by unanimous decision. At 39 years of age, McCarter is feeling stronger than ever and prepared for battle. Her extended resume has earned her multiple recognitions including in 2013 where she was awarded by the Golden State Boxers Association and inducted into their Hall of Fame. In 2016 she was considered Ring magazines 10th best female boxer of all time. The Nevada Boxing Hall of Fame also recognized McCarter in 2017 as the Women’s Pro Boxer of the Year.
