Poland - Fighting for the third-time following a two-year layoff, former heavyweight world title challenger Mariusz Wach (30-1, 16 KOs) got back into the mix with a close unanimous decision over dangerous Nigerian veteran and 2004 Olympian Gbenga Oloukun, who drops down to 19-11, 12 KOs.

Both fighters didn't gave their all, limiting their punch output and excitement of the fans at Cuprum Arena in Lubin. Both were reserved but while Wach, 35, relied mainly on his activity (despite a more powerful build), Oloukun, 31, was fighting in spurts, trying to land his right hand. He did land it a couple of times but his attacks weren't damaging. Wach wasn't a wrecking ball himself, outworking his opponent in a dull fight and not by much. He was also briefly down in one of the later rounds from what looked more like a push than an actual punch.

Official scores were: 97-93, 97-93 and 98-94 - for the Pole, whose only loss came on points against heavyweight king Wladimir Klitschko in November 2012, a fight where he was caught cheating after testing positive illegal substance afterwards. Meanwhile, the Nigerian is just 2-11 since going 17-0 to begin his career and with a single notable win since losing to Manuel Charr in April 2009.

Female super lightweight Ewa Brodnicka (7-0, 2 KOs) decisioned Hungarian Gina Chamie (11-3, 5 KOs) over eight rounds of a non-title fight. Scores were: 80-72, 80-72 and 79-73 - for the Polish fighter.

Light heavyweight Robert "Arab" Parzeczewski (8-0, 3 KOs) looked sharper than his Ugandan (bot now fighting of Netherlands) opponent Farouk Daku (18-8-1, 9 KOs), ultilizing his reflexes and stiff jab to repel Daku's agression and to get a win over eight rounds.

Daku was ultimately aggressive and willing and landed many punches but Parzeczewski was slightly better in boxing department, and that meant much. However, judges' scorecards (80-72, 80-72 and 80-73) - in favour of Parzeczewski - were too wide

to be reality. BoxingScene had it 78-75 - also for the Pole.

In a mismatch, former two-time world title challenger Stjepan Bozic (29-11, 19 KOs) continued his sad downfall, being stopped in four by 10-0, 6 KOs, Pole Michal Gerlecki.

Bozic, 40, made an impression of a willing fighter early on only to fade considerably in the coming rounds. He was rocked a couple of times, then ate a major right hand to the neck early into the fourth round, took a knee, and refused to continue fighting. Time was 0:55 of the round.

Former two-time Belarussian Olympian (2004 and 2008) Khavazhy Khatsygov (11-10, 7 KOs) made some fireworks early in his fight against previously undefeated Pole Damian Wrzesinski, dropping him hard with a left hand early into the first. Wrzesinski, 27, got up and started delivering punishment to Khatsygov, 37, which was increasing with each fought round. Finally, Khatsygov retired in the fourth round for no obvious reasons but being soundly outboxed.

Veteran Robert Milewicz (12-1, 7 KOs), now 41 and fighting for the second time in 12 years, easily outboxed professional loser Gordan Glisic (6-22-2, 2 KOs) over four rounds. Scores were: 40-36 (x3). Glisic has lost his 16th straight.

Pro debutant Michal Lesniak (1-0) outpointed Lukas Leskovic (1-4) unanimously over four rounds in a light welterweight fight. Scores were 40-36 across the boards.
