TORONTO - Super lightweight rising star and undefeated local hero Logan “Cotton” McGuinness makes his long awaited return to the ring October 27th at The Powerade Centre, in Brampton, Ontario, Canada. Lee Baxter Promotions is excited to present this evening of top flight boxing action, name “Monsters Fight Night.”

This match will put McGuiness back in the ring after a nineteen month hiatus due to promotional issues. Having now signed with Lee Baxter Promotions, McGuiness is ready to resume his climb to the top!

Fighting and living out of Orangeville, Ontario, McGuinness has steadily risen in the rankings and hearts of fans, amassing an impressive record of 23-0-1 (10) thus far, including wins over Carlos Manuel Reyes and fellow Canadian contender Benoit Gaudet.

A two-division NABA Champion, McGuinness looks now to continue his rise to a title shot against Argentinean slugger Sergio Mauricio Gil, who comes into the fight with a record of 19-8-2 (13). The upset-minded Gil is a proven tough guy, having never lost by way of stoppage, and is sure to prove a challenging test for the undefeated McGuinness. The bout is scheduled for ten rounds, pending commission approval.

Also featured will be Mexican warrior Mario Perez 19-7-5 (11) and up and coming UK export Alex Dilmaghani 10-1 (2) in separate bouts. The card will see seven fights in all, and if Lee Baxter's track record is any indication we can expect an evening of well-matched boxing action.
