The Jeff Horn versus Tim Tsyzu super welterweight clash has finally been rescheduled. It was originally set for April 22nd but had to be postponed after the coronavirus pandemic shut down the sports world.

An anticipated crowd of 16,000 is expected to be in attendance at Townsville's new Queensland Country Bank Arena with social distancing measures in place for the all Australian showdown.

Horn of course is best known for his controversial victory over Manny Pacquiao that netted him the WBO welterweight title and he has also shared the ring with 3 division world champion Terence Crawford and former champions Anthony Mundine, Randall Bailey and Ali Funeka.

At a recent press conference to announce the fight, Horn said that Tim's famous father Kostya Tszyu is the only reason he decided to face his talented, but largely untested rival.

"Look, Tim only got this fight because of his last name. If he was Tim Smith or whatever, he wasn't going to be getting this fight because I would be looking at bigger and better things. The Tsyzu name is red hot. His father was an absolute legend that is and that is exactly why this fight is happening," explained Horn.

The 25-year-old Tszyu is currently anywhere from a 2.5-1 to a 3-1 betting favorite. Those odds have Horn shaking his head.  He believes his big fight experience should make him the favorite to win the fight.

"I am shocked at the odds. I can't believe that I am that much of an underdog for this fight but I love being an underdog. It makes me fight I think to that next level - and it being a stadium fight added to that. All of these things are a mix of me having my greatest victories and this is going to be one of them," said Horn.

"I feel like this one is a bit of a blow out and that I should definitely be the favorite for this one with what I have done in the past and I think I will just have to prove that on the night."
