Jake Paul aims to further prove himself as a rising prospect.

The YouTube star and aspiring cruiserweight faces former mixed martial artist Ben Askren in their headline-grabbing grudge match. Both boxers made weight for their scheduled eight-round bout tops a Triller Fight Club Pay-Per-View event, airing live from Mercedes Benz Stadium in Atlanta.

Paul (2-0, 2KOs) tipped the scale at 191.5 pounds, while Askren checked in at a fleshy but fight-ready 191 pounds for his pro debut.

The event marks Paul’s first as a PPV headliner after serving as the chief support for Triller’s initial foray into the boxing world last November. Paul—originally from Ohio but who now fights out of Miami, Florida—saw his result go viral, flattening former NBA star Nate Robinson inside of two rounds. The bout came ten months after Paul made a successful pro debut with a 1st round knockout of fellow YouTube personality AnEson Gib last January in Miami.

Prior to the main event, Regis Prograis (25-1, 21KOs) fights for the second time since the pandemic as he takes on veteran fringe contender Ivan Redkach (23-5-1, 21KOs) in a scheduled 10-round bout above the junior welterweight limit.

Both boxers made weight for the chief support. Prograis weighed 143 pounds; Redkach—who hails from Los Angeles by way of Shostka, Ukraine—weighed 142 pounds.

Prograis previously held the WBA junior lightweight title, which he conceded to Josh Taylor via 12-round majority decision in the final round of the World Boxing Super Series tournament in October 2019. A year-long layoff followed before Prograis returned to the ring with a 3rd round knockout of Juan Heraldez last Halloween in San Antonio.

Redkach has not fought since a 12-round loss to Danny Garcia last January.

Below are the weights for the rest of the undercard.

Steve Cunningham (29-9-1, 13KOs), Philadelphia, 206 pounds vs. Frank Mir (debut), Las Vegas, 276 pounds—6 rounds, heavyweight
