Ice Hall, Helsinki, Finland - The Nordic Nightmare is back: Robert Helenius, now 18-0, returned after almost a year out due to injury and outscored dangerman Sherman "the Tank" Williams over ten. It was scored 99-91, 99-93 and 98-93.

However, Williams had a big moment in the sixth when he hurt Helenius with a big overhand right. Robert staggered and was in big trouble as Williams followed up but recovered quickly and was allright by the end of the round. After this Helenius was a lot more careful in order not to fall into the traps laid out by Williams, short, skillful fighter, a lot like Garing Lane, if anyone remembers him.

Helenius looked a bit stiff in the first. "I was a little nervous," said Helenius afterwards in his first fight after eleven months out.

Williams acknowledged defeat and wanted to come back to Finland - but in the summer when it is not so cold and one can only agree.

Light heavyweight prospect Erik Skoglund (13-0, 7KOs) stopped Gyorgy Marosi (16-7, 9 KOs) in one.

Middleweight contender Patrick Nielsen (17-0, 8KOs) remained unbeaten with a tough ten round unanimous decision victory over a game Jamel Bakhi (24-4-2, 6KOs) to retain the WBA Inter-Continental title. The scores were 96-94, 97-95 and 99-91.

Cruiserweight prospect Micki Nielsen (4-0, 4KOs) made it four in a row with a stoppage victory over Dzianis Vardomski (1-2-1, 1 KO) in one.

Featherweight contender Andreas Evensen (17-2-1, 6KOs) continues his run with a ten round unanimous decision over Philippe Frenois (15-7-1). The scores were 100-90, 100-90 and 99-91.

Middleweight prospect Fitim Latifi (3-0, 0KO) won a six round unanimous decision over previously undefeated Alexander Jacobsen (2-1). The scores were 59-55, 59-55 and 59-54.
