 Harley Benn has been hit with disappointment –– just hours before his big night.

The estranged son of former two-weight world champion Nigel was set to feature on Friday night’s Wam Boxing-promoted ‘Boyz In The Hood’ card, exclusively live on BoxNation.

But the 20-year-old was forced off the bill, at Brentwood Centre, earlier in the day after it was revealed, by a press release sent by the office of promoter Frank Warren, that there had been a delay in the completion of a medical form.

A new date for Benn’s debut, it is said, will be announced in due course.
