Middleweight: Jermain Taylor exits for inactivity and let’s hope, given his erratic behavior in the last year, no one who cares about him lets him take any further head trauma. Daniel Jacobs moves past a defeated David Lemieux who will try to rebuild after running into the GGG juggernaut. Golovkin’s looming IBF mandatory, Tureano Johnson, cracks the top ten for the first time.

Welterweight: Aaron Martinez knocks Devon Alexander out of the top ten and makes room for himself. There was a hell of a case he deserved the nod against rated Robert Guerrero earlier this year. Quite a 2015 for a Martinez who looked destined for palookaville against Josesito Lopez in 2014. Lamont Peterson, who got a debatable call against Felix Diaz this weekend, may or may not now be campaigning at Welterweight but the win over Felix Diaz isn’t enough to merit a rating just yet.

Jr. Welterweight: Peterson hasn’t fought in the division since August 2014 and stated after the fight that he was moving up. He exits the top ten. IBF titlist Cesar Cuenca enters the top ten.

Lightweight: Argenis Mendez got a debatable, but official, decision in an ugly affair with former titlist Miguel Vazquez. It’s enough to enter the ratings. Diego Magdaleno exits the top the after a thrashing at the hands of Terry Flanagan. Flanagan makes a big move.

Jr. Bantamweight: Kohei Kono got a big win over Koki Kameda but it’s not quite enough to ignore the struggle with Norberto Jimenez last year. He remains as he was.

Flyweight: Former IBF titlist Moruti Mthalane has been inactive for a year but it appears he will fight in early November. If that falls through, he will be removed from the top ten. Brian Viloria fought well and gave champion Roman Gonzalez a solid go. He remains as he was.
