Staples Center, Los Angeles - Saturday's HBO Pay-Per-View left a lot of fans screaming robbery. For the second consecutive HBO Pay-Per-View, thousands of boxing fans spent their hard-earned money to watch a controversial early ending to a main event. Chad Dawson (31-1, 18KOs) stopped Bernard Hopkins (52-6-2, 32KOs) in the second round to capture the WBC light heavyweight title. Hopkins, citing a shoulder injury, was unable to continue.

Hopkins suffered the injury after lunging in with a punch. As he lunged in, Hopkins was leaning over Dawson's body, which forced the challenger to use his shoulder to push Hopkins off. The 46-year-old veteran fell to the canvas and advised the referee that he suffered a left shoulder injury.

Fans who paid $54.99 for the pay-per-view - want their money back. Dawson's promoter, Gary Shaw, believes Hopkins should pay the piper.

"Let Bernard take his paycheck and refund it to everybody. We came to fight," said Shaw. "What I really feel is Bernard is old, and he gave it all he could for as long as he could. He beat Pascal, but there was no way he could have beaten Chad."
