Pacquiao was a 115 guy who went onto to TKO or otherwise destroy nearly all of the dangerous welterweights of his era. Believing that a bigger guy should get less credit for fighting a smaller guy, when the smaller guy is already a lock for the HOF, and FAVORED TO WIN, is an argument that only a fan of a particular fighter would make. Leonard gets less credit for beating Duran because he did his best work at LW? Derp.

Floyd Mayweather isn't a natural welter, but he routinely beat up guys that outweighed him by 10-20 lbs. That doesn't mean that the guys he lost to don't get credit when they make him work hard, or even make a case for winning. That's just warped logic. Hopkins came down in weight to challenge a special fighter, and got the W. Chad Dawson made the same attempt, and had he beat career-SMW-he-was-LHW-in-the-Olympics-doe Andre Ward, he would have gotten full credit and people would have made sure to bash Ward and let him have no excuses. Be real.
