Now that I think about it, I can't really think of many great Mexican fighters fighting a great African American fighter both in their primes.

The great Mexican fighters tend to be below 147 in most cases (there are exceptions) and most great African Americans tend to be in the middle/higher weight classes. Chavez-Whitaker is probably the most notable (Whitaker won) De La Hoya isn't even considered Mexican by most Mexicans is he? (Just what I've read you'll have to forgive me if I'm wrong)
