Khabib won't be able to stop his takedown, we've seen Khabib taken down before so it's not impossible it's just most people don't want to play that game with him due to fear of being reversed/outgrappled. I say this as a HUGE Khabib fan.

Conor stands a better chance but his huge grappling deficiency will be the end of him. GSP will just spam takedowns and jabs and duck under Conor's left and take him down when he throws it. Conor has a punchers chance but he just isn't strong enough. Remember Nate Diaz who used to get ragdolled at 170lb outmuscled him clearly against the cage time and time and again. GSP may have faded athletically a bit but he looks as strong and smart as ever.
I fundamentally agree with you but Khabib has a much, much better submission game than GSP.

Just correcting you on that one. Khabib can submit world class blackbelts like Leo Viera, GSP can't. Khabib prefers ground and pound but his submission game is better than GSP's objectively.

GSP would stop Khabib taking him down however so it wouldn't help Khabib much in their hypothetical matchup.

    I agree GSP beats both.

Winning the WW title (yet again) would have been massive too, but I doubt he wants to face a prime Woodley who has KO power and powerful wrestling. Bisping is dogshyt and he got hurt pretty bad vs him.

Regardless of who wins out of Mcgregor and Khabib, habib is the far easier match up for him. At least Conor has a chance to KO GSP before being obliterated on the ground, whereas Khabib would get smothered on the ground or jabbed into oblivion on the feet.

Also, LW is fuccing stacked. Ferguson, Poirier and Lee all have legitimate claims to challenge for the title.
"whereas Khabib would get smothered on the ground" You sound positive about this; I'd like to see it, but until I do, I find it hard to believe, and this is why: I believe that Georges St. Pierre isn't so much a wrestler/grappler as he is tremendously strong (however he got that way)and uses his strength to negate his opponents wrestling/grappling; therefore, unless St. Pierre's strength was evident at lightweight, he'd be in over his head with Khabib. So, what am I missing?
