I still am dissapointed in my boy Andrei Arlovski for not being able to turn the lights off of Mir.

I think there is a good chance Mir is gonna be a cautionary tale in MMA at some future date. He's been cleanly KTFO a few times in his career & seems to be buzzed upon virtually any big punch landing so his punch resistance seems like garbage at this point.

Mir's probably one of those guys who'd have a hard time getting a license to fight if there were tighter regulations on getting a license. Although at this point I think with the known info out there there should be more talk of if a guy gets x concussions he shouldn't be allowed to get a license to fight at all & I'd bet that Mir has had several concussions. But I'm progressive like dat & combat sports, in particular boxing, is slow to change.

Knock outs happen all the time in combat sports...compared to boxing average k.os for someone his k.o percentage isn't all that bad really...I think more repedative shots do more damage than one shot k.os,which makes boxing more of a brain damaging sport.Mir would have little probs getting a fight license..you have 50 year olds fighting today and even some with no limbs.

Mir's not competitive anymore. I like him, but he needs to retire. He doesn't get fights to the ground anymore and his boxing has gone downhill.

Its a case of falling inlove with ones power he loved knocking dudes out. But his best shot was and always will be to submit them

Frank Mir is old and shot and I've always thought he was overrated to begin with.

I think he might seriously get brain damage. He's been tagged and knocked out by some of biggest, heavyweight punchers of all time.
